All the way from Colorado, The Lumineers bring us Stubborn Love. The single was released in October 2012 for their debut album.

The folk rock band have surprised me with this catchy anthem, one with a rustic approach. Raw guitar and vocals is what makes this a very special piece of music.

For me, the song sticks out amongst my library for it’s beat and it’s want to be listened to which is very apparent. Wesley Keith Schultz, guitar and vocals, is accompanied with a beautiful arrangement of single strings from Neyla Pekarek who plays the piano in other songs and Jeremiah Caleb Fraites who provides the solid beat to tap along to.

It’s a perfect mix of dynamics and experiment that I would tell everyone to give a try.
